Gardner Bender helps Habitat for Humanity
September, 14 2017– Menomonee Falls, WI
Since 1976, Habitat for Humanity has partnered with community members around the world to construct homes for families who need a decent, safe place to live. Every day, the Milwaukee area Habitat for Humanity takes small groups of volunteers to spend a full day dry walling and painting. On September, 14th the Gardner Bender team worked up a sweat dry walling for this incredible cause.
Not only are these homes a safe haven for families in need, but communities with Habitat homes have also seen a significant drop in crime rate around the nation. Homeowners of Habitat homes achieve the strength, stability and independence they need to build a better life for themselves and for their families.
Senior Channel Manager Dustin Uebelacker had this to say about the event: "I feel great that I was able to go out and do something for the community to make a difference. I am beyond thankful that I can work for a company like Gardner Bender who was willing to help fund this project and encouraged all of us to attend and help."
